American Heart Association 2008 – 2011

For many years, Chef Chris has donated an annual in-home VIP dinner experience to the Live Auction. This donation over the years has helped raise a tremendous amount of money towards our mission – To build healthier lives free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.”

Make-A-Wish Foundation 2008 – 2010

Make-A-WishThe Make-A-Wish Foundation of America was founded in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1980. The largest wish-granting organization in the world, the Foundation has granted the wishes of more than 170,000 children with life-threatening medical conditions nationwide.


Loaves & Fishes 2009 – 2011

Loaves & Fishes provides a week's worth of nutritious groceries to individuals and families in a short-term crisis. In 2010, Loaves & Fishes provided groceries to 110,336 people.



Charlotte Food & Wine 2010

Food-and-WineProceeds from the 2010 Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend benefit a variety of organizations that provide nourishment to Mecklenburg County youth. Collectively, these agencies nurture the whole child (body, mind and spirit) by focusing on such issues as education, child abuse and neglect, homelessness and hunger.

MS-SocietyThe Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.


SAVOR 2010 – Richmond VA

SAVORThis charity event benefits the Hospital Hospitality House, whose mission is to be the premier area provider of lodging and non-medical services that promote the healing process in a caring, emotionally supportive, home-like environment. To serve referred families with dignity and integrity and without regard to financial resources. Since they opened our doors in 1984, they have served over 122,000 guests from across Virginia, the United States and beyond.


Preservation Society - Duke Mansion 2010 Charlotte NC

Chef’s Best 2008

Chef's Best is a benefit event for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina’s Community Food Rescue Program. The annual Chef’s Best event features a reception followed by an elegant five course dinner with each course prepared by one of the region’s finest chefs.


Art and Food 2004 - Charlotte NC

As the Executive Chef Manager for Bank of America in Charlotte, Chris Ivens-Brown participated in an art-and-food charity fund-raiser that the TopCats also participated in.
